All previous Hilton Head Alumni are invited to submit abstracts and/or attend the 2008 Workshop regardless of their current location.
Submission of abstracts is now an on-line, electronic process. No more hard copies.
Historically, the Solid State Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems Workshop (Hilton Head Workshop) has been a regional meeting, open only to those from institutions based in North, Central and South America. In 2008, the Hilton Head Workshop is inviting abstracts and applications to participate from all previous alumni to the meeting regardless of their current location or affiliation. Accepted papers from outside the Americas must be presented by a previous Hilton Head Workshop alumni and applications to attend from those outside the Americas will only be accepted from previous Workshop attendees. You will find a new and streamlined application process under the application/registration tab.
We hope 2008 will be a reunion year of all past Hilton Head Workshop attendees. We are very excited about this opportunity to meet old friends from previous Hilton Head Workshops as well as encourage new participation from current researchers and institutions within the Americas Region.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Transducer Research Foundation, we look forward to seeing you in June 2008.
Sincerely,
Leland "Chip" Spangler, Ph.D.
