Abstract Submission Overview Enabling Future Health Care Workshop is implementing a "rolling" abstract submission process. In other words, abstracts received on or before 23:59 (Hawaii, USA) on a Thursday of any given week will be sent to the reviewers the next day (Friday). If, for instance, an abstract is submitted on a Tuesday, authors are welcome to make changes to their submissions any time before the noted time on Thursday of the same week. However, once the submssions have been sent to the reviewers, no modifications can be made. The FINAL submission deadline is Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The Late News abstracts should be two (2) pages in length and follow the guidelines as outlined on the Guidelines page and sample abstract. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed and then if accepted for presentation, distributed to attendees as is. There will be no revisions. All accepted abstracts will be presented as Posters only. Please view the Abstract Classification List for the fields in which we are seeking papers. Authors will be notified within two weeks of each weekly deadline whether their abstract has been accepted for presentation. Late News Abstract Submission Deadlines
The poster session plays an important role at this meeting, as it will be the primary venue for technical presentations at the Workshop. There are two types of poster presentations, Poster Short Oral and Poster. Each will have a two phase format for presentation. The first phase is an "oral" format. In the second phase, presenters are expected to be present at their poster during their assigned Poster Session (A or B) for questions and discussion. Please refer to the preliminary program for assigned session, time and poster number. Poster Short Orals Poster Short Orals will give a 10 minute summary of their poster in the General Session room with up to 10 slides. Please refer to the Poster Short Oral Guidelines for additional information. Poster Presentations Poster presenters are required to give a 3 minute summary of their poster in the General Session room with up to 3 slides. Please refer to the Poster Instructions for additional information. Poster slides are due by Friday, August 14th for both Poster Short Orals and Poster Presentations. |
