Abstract Guidelines
- Two-page limit - A4 Standard or US Standard 8.5 x 11 inches are both acceptable.
- Title, authors and short affiliations must fit on the first page, as outlined in the sample abstract.
- Figures and tables may appear on either or both pages.
- Make sure that all figures and photographs are clearly visible. If the organizing committee cannot clearly see and understand the role of the visual material included in the abstract, the material and consequently the abstract likely will be viewed negatively.
- We recommend the following format to be used, as seen in the Word and PDF examples.
- o A single (1) column format should be used
- o Use Times New Roman throughout the entire abstract
- o Title: 14 points, bold, with ALL CAPS
- o Text body: 10 points, regular
- o Text should be fully justified and no indentation on paragraphs
- o Figure captions: 10 points, italic
- o Table captions: 10 points, italic
- o References: 10 points, regular, number in [ ].
